Flanked by 20 dancers clad in black, Cardi B served serious Josephine Baker vibes as she sashayed across LA’s Staples Center stage performing her hit “Money” at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. Released on October 23, 2018, and taken from her platinum release Invasion of Privacy, “Money” was written by Cardi herself and produced by J. White Did It. After a classical piano intro, the the Bronx bombshell appeared sporting a pixie finger waved hairstyle, and a formfitting, leopard infused ensemble. Merging her trademark provocative dance moves and the perfect amount of sass, the Bronx diva created the perfect blend of “Classic Cardi”. Nominated for five Grammys, Cardi B took home the honor for Best Rap Album.
