Daymond John…he’s a business mogul, the founder of FUBU, investor, and media personality on Shark Tank. He has a new book coming out March 10th, 2020 called Powershift. Powershifting, as described by Mr. John, is when you “take control and create moments of change” for yourself and your business. It’s one of the core principles and techniques that has helped propel him to where he is in the business world.
If you’re an entrepreneur, you more than likely have heard of Daymond John and perhaps even read some of his previous books such as The Power of Broke or Rise and Grind, but his newest book is shaping up to be perhaps the best one yet!
Daymond is taking a different promotional approach this time with his upcoming book release. He put out a call looking for ambassadors that would help with promotion. The ambassadors’ duties will be to work together and help put promotional strategies in play that will help get the word out about the book. We obviously get to work with Daymond directly on this project, which is a huge plus. But we also learn valuable and essential business skills as we network with one another.
I applied and was chosen for this ambassador program and I will not take this opportunity lightly. Daymond is someone that I have looked up to for more than a decade because of his entrepreneurial hustle and watching him on Shark Tank. He’s someone I feel as if I already know because I’ve invited him into my living room nightly. He was one of the inspirations behind me creating my company Inventrify because I wanted to be able to help entrepreneurs in a similar way that he has.
That’s the goal.
And now that I have the pleasure of being a Powershift Ambassador and helping him in his journey, it’ll essentially help me out with mine as well. Both of our journeys should and could help many entrepreneurs from around the globe. And I want y’all to go on this journey with me.
