With his smooth John Mayer-like vibe, Jason Taylor strives to explore the deeper side of humanity with his breezy new single, “Feelin’ Me”. Evoking themes of spirituality and personal growth, Taylor’s sound also serves as the sound of hope for the doubtful and disheartened.
Produced by Darryl Swann, who has also produced for Macy Gray and John Frusciante, “Feelin’ Me” unfolds Taylor’s euphoric blend of adult contemporary, rock and indie music. To date, the single has spent over 10 weeks on international radio charts. A natural born performer, Taylor has shared the stage with some of today’s iconic artists, from O.A.R. and Guster, to Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Don Peake of the Wrecking Crew. In addition to his four West Coast tours, including the Lightning in a Bottle Tour, Taylor has also performed in New York, Los Angeles, Bangkok and Siem Reap, Cambodia. A devout humanitarian, Taylor has also volunteered to help build schools and teach music to impoverished children in Southeast Asia.
Additionally, he has participated in and helped to organize a plethora of music events to benefit organizations such as the American Cancer Society, and Unlikely Heroes, a non-profit dedicated to rescuing children from sex trafficking worldwide. Fun Fact: In 2017, Taylor’s band sold an original song to McDonald’s. Additionally, he appeared in one of the company’s commercials as a guitar player.
