On the heels of his recurring role as “Coach Ron” in Netflix’s On My Block, Rob Murat, a force to be reckoned with both on camera and behind the mic, aims to provide comfort during stressful times, with his new single, “Runaway”. Written by Murat himself, and produced along with renowned producer Seandammit, the hypnotic R&B tune provides the perfect mental space for breaking away, and seeking relief from life’s harsh realities.
“Runaway is my reminder to those who may be struggling that they are not alone”, he explains. “It’s my contribution to a collective healing we all desperately need, as we continue to get through all of this together.”
In addition to becoming part of one of Netflix’s most binge worthy shows, the Queens, NY native has also appeared on other popular shows such as, Bones on FOX and Extant on CBS. When he’s not gracing television screens, or flexing his musical prowess in the studio, Murat can be found narrating prestigious award ceremonies and events. He can also be found producing music for a multitude of television programs. His work has been featured on many networks, including TV One, BET, VH1, and HBO.
