Megan The Stallion, in addition to being a Grammy-winning rapper, is also attempting to work as a financial counselor. Through a cooperation with Cash App, she handed away $1 million in June to educate “Investing For Hotties.” She went over ideas like fractional shares and diversification in an accompanying video, reminding viewers that “buying stocks isn’t if only for the big players.” Megan has now moved her focus to Bitcoin for the next chapter in her Cash App series, due to a brand new video that tries to educate people about the digital currency.
“Bitcoin is a new kind of money,” the Houston rapper begins as a shirtless man pours her tea. “While the cash in your wallet is issued and regulated by governments, Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. Like a wild stallion, it can’t be controlled by anyone.” During the two-minute video, she goes on to explain why Bitcoin is so valuable, why its price fluctuates, and how to buy Bitcoin.
She became the first rapper to cover the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue with this video. She also received her first platinum plaque for her debut album Good News, which was released in 2020.
