The trailer for “Being the Ricardos,” the film starring Academy Award winners Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman about Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball, is now available.
The film “Being the Ricardos” is based on a true story. The Amazon Studios film focuses on a pivotal era in the lives of the renowned couple who produced “I Love Lucy,” the legendary family comedy show.
Between 1951 and 1957, CBS broadcasted “I Love Lucy.” It aired for six seasons, and according to Nielsen ratings, it was the most-watched show in the United States for four of them. “I Love Lucy” was selected the “Best TV Show of All Time” in a survey held by ABC and “People” magazine in 2012.
“Being the Ricardos” is executive produced by Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucie Arnaz, Ball and Arnaz’s two children.
In the movie teaser, Kidman’s Ball says, “I am paid a fortune to do exactly what I love doing.” “I work alongside my husband, who is truly amazed by my abilities. All I have to do now is kill it for the next 36 weeks. Then repeat the process the next year.”
Arnaz, played by Bardem, is the businessman who runs the couple’s production company, Desilu Productions. Every time an episode is being filmed, he appears in front of a live studio audience and exclaims, “Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the show!” in extremely accented English. ”
“Being the Ricardos” is directed and written by Oscar winner Aaron Sorkin.
J.R. Tolkien, J.R. Tolkien, J.R. Tolki K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Tony Hale, Alia Shawkat, Jake Lacy, Clark Gregg, Nelson Franklin, John Rubinstein, Linda Lavin, Robert Pine, and Christopher Denham are among the actors that have appeared in the film.
“Being the Ricardos” will be released in theaters on December 10 and will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime on December 21.
