Paris Terror Attacks: One Day Later

Last night November 14th, 2015, Paris was under a state of emergency after a massive terrorist attack. People around the world whether on social media or in private continue to send prayers and thoughts to Paris and their people.

Last night November 14th, 2015, Paris was under a state of emergency after a massive terrorist attack. People around the world whether on social media or in private are sending prayers and thoughts to Paris and their people.

At 9 pm, France time during a friendly soccer match against Germany, explosions was heard and stopped the match. People were advised not to leave and to avoid the exits.

A restaurant and concert hall were attacked.  The people responsible shot up the restaurant and then attacked the concert hall with an ongoing concert. The band, Eagles of Death Metal was playing.

According to multiple reports, this was a suicide mission and thoroughly planned out. Seven of the attackers had bomb belts and set them off in the concert hall. The attack overall left over 129 dead, hundreds more injured, and reports say that 8 attackers are now dead as well.

Police have set a curfew for the time being and are recommending that residents stay inside for the day, not leaving their homes unless it’s absolutely necessary. Public places, schools, and even government places are closed for the time being as well. Many family members and friends are still looking for loved ones after this terrible night.

Paris is still in a bit of a panic and addressing the matter as the news comes in. For now, there is really nothing people can do except for to stay home and be with their loved ones. People all over Facebook are showing their support by having the French colors highlight their profile pictures.
