Tucker Carlson is enraged! To be fair, it’s an evergreen phrase, but this time he’s angry at fellow conservative Lindsey Graham, which makes this a story.
The Washington Post provided a thorough narrative of the events that led to the Capitol insurgency on Sunday, only one day before Carlson’s despicable January 6th docuseries Patriot Purge aired the first of three episodes. One of the startling disclosures was that when members of the Senate and House of Representatives were being evacuated from the Capitol, Graham—a longtime Donald Trump ass-kisser—snapped out of MAGA mode long enough to grow upset and yell at the Senate sergeant-at-arms: “What are you doing? Reclaim the Senate! You have weapons. Make use of them. There’s a reason we give you guns. Carlson has become enraged as a result of this.
According to Mediaite, the Fox News anchor seemed to care whether any of his fellow Americans lived or died on Monday night when he chastised Graham for recommending that a person entrusted with a pistol and charged with protecting the safety of the Capitol building and its residents actually do it. Carlson claims that:
Lindsey Graham was sprinting around the Capitol on January 6th, urging Capitol police to murder the protestors, according to this lengthy Washington Post “rebuttal” to our documentary series. “‘You’ve got guns,’ says the narrator. Make use of them. Lindsey Graham shouted, “We give you guns for a purpose.”
Shoot American citizens for the crime of trespassing. Really? This is the conservative position? Unarmed protestors? They shouldn’t have been there. We’ve never defended that and never would.”

“But kill them?,” Carlson continued. “What the hell’s wrong with you, Lindsey Graham? How long before you’re ordering drone attacks on people whose politics you don’t like?”
Probably about as long as it takes for Carlson to claim that a 17-year-old white kid with a gun is just “maintaining order.”
